Grid Tied Solar Solutions
With a grid tied system you are still connected to the power grid. Your system will generate surplus power during the day and the surplus goes into the grid. The power you use and the surplus you generate will cancel each other out with an effective system, basically reducing your electricity bill to zero.
Solar Panels are made up of photovoltaic (PV) cells. These cells convert sunlight into direct current (DC) electricity throughout the day when the sun shines. The Inverter converts DA electricity to AC to power home appliances. During the day excess electricity is pushed back into the national grid. At the moment this set-up has the fastest payback period of solar installations. The price of inverters and solar panels have dropped in recent years. Which makes this a great option. We do also do hybrid installations if a battery component is needed.
